Enabling Devices Sip n Puff

Push button medical alarms are great for people who can use the technology to call for help when they need it, but push button alarms won’t be of any help to people who can’t use their hands to activate the alarm. Pittsburgh-based Automated Security Alert is now working with United Cerebral Palsy to offer a device to their clients called the “sip n puff” that allows the user to activate a medical alarm by blowing into a straw. This device is a creative way to fulfill an important need.
