FallGuard Pro

Q. How does the FallGuard Pro work?

A. The FallGuard Pro uses a built-in tilt sensor that can detect when the pendant tilts past 60 degrees for more than a predefined period of time (usually about a minute). This activates the medical alert system, which notifies our Life Safety Operators, enabling help to be dispatched immediately.

Q. How do I know if the FallGuard Pro is the correct choice?

A. The FallGuard Pro should only be used for those who have sudden fainting spells, seizures, or any other situations where pushing a traditional pendant would not be possible. Since the FallGuard Pro works with a tilt sensor, it cannot be worn while lying down or sleeping. For these cases the user would where a traditional medical alert pendant and would only put on the fall detector during normal daily activities.
